Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Buddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santoro Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos has chosen Dick Dale- The Pulp Fiction Theme as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buddell takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Santos misses with a double jab.
Santos looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Buddell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Santos scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Buddell slips a straight right by Santos.
Buddell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Santos.
Santos misses with a body shot.
Santos lands a left and a right that send Buddell crashing to the mat, dazed. Santos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Bob Buddell has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Santos scores with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Santos scores with a push kick.
Buddell is breathing heavily.
Santos throws a nice inside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Santos looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Santos backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Buddell's temple! It sends Buddell violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Santos celebrates and the doctors try to help Buddell!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Santoro Santos!
