The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Connor tries to clinch up but The Japanese Speedboat circles away and keeps his distance.
O Connor scores with a body shot.
The Japanese Speedboat throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
O Connor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The Japanese Speedboat moves to clinch but O Connor breaks away
letting O Connor counter with a right hand.
O Connor throws a right hand that misses
letting The Japanese Speedboat counter with a right hand.


It looks like William O Connor has been cut.
O Connor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

O Connor drives through and clinches with The Japanese Speedboat against the cage.
A shot in the inside from O Connor.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice body punch from O Connor - that landed with a thud.
O Connor blocks a body shot from The Japanese Speedboat.
O Connor is pushing The Japanese Speedboat up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The Japanese Speedboat tries to break free but O Connor pushes him back against the cage.

O Connor lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.


It looks like Kuen Yin The Japanese Speedboat has been cut.
O Connor lands with a right to the head.
O Connor stalls.
O Connor lands with a left to the head.
O Connor lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of The Japanese Speedboat backwards.
The Japanese Speedboat can't get the takedown.
The Japanese Speedboat wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but O Connor has him pressed against the cage.
O Connor just leaning against The Japanese Speedboat, taking a breather.

The Japanese Speedboat successfully pulls guard.
O Connor won't allow The Japanese Speedboat to sweep him here.

The Japanese Speedboat escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. O Connor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The Japanese Speedboat is breathing heavily.
The Japanese Speedboat can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as O Connor controls the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
O Connor's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The ref stands the fighters back up. William O Connor was stalling too much, according to the referee.
The Japanese Speedboat misses with a double jab
and O Connor counters with a right hand to the body.
O Connor jabs The Japanese Speedboat to the body, keeping him at a distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Japanese Speedboat doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
O Connor feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits The Japanese Speedboats jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The Japanese Speedboat has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from O Connor finds it's way round the side to connect with The Japanese Speedboat's head.
O Connor fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
O Connor throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
O Connor stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kuen Yin The Japanese Speedboat. That's going to take a lot out of him.

O Connor drops The Japanese Speedboat with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but The Japanese Speedboat looks back up at him and smiles so O Connor waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


The Japanese Speedboat is rocked!
O Connor scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Oh The Japanese Speedboat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
O Connor pounces like a tiger and cracks The Japanese Speedboat with a vicious hook! The Japanese Speedboat is down but not out! O Connor follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). William O Connor!
During a confident post fight interview, William O Connor thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
