Tripp comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Company - The Nine. Speed has chosen The Ramones / Blitzkrieg Bop as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed lands a glancing blow to the side of Tripp's head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Speed darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tripp throws a hook but Speed avoids it easily.
Speed throws a good cross that connects.
Speed changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Tripp is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Speed.
Speed ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Speed misses with a hook.
Nathan Speed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Speed throws a series of strikes that have Tripp backpedaling.
Tripp throws a jab but it's blocked by Speed.
Tripp drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Speed misses with a looping right.
Speed is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Speed throws a combination. Tripp tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Speed comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tripp fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Speed jabs Tripp to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Speed scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Tripp is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Speed to keep the fight standing.

Speed is leaning against Tripp and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Speed dips a shoulder and cracks Tripp with a mighty uppercut! Tripp falls back against the cage and Speed unloads with a barrage of strikes! Tripp is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Speed screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
