Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lalli Koylio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braz Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra fails with a takedown attempt.
Serra dives in and grabs Koylio's left leg, looking for a takedown. Koylio pushes down on Serra's head and hops out.
Koylio waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Serra.
Serra throws a low kick but it's checked well by Koylio.
Koylio is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Serra's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Koylio stops Serra from getting back to his feet.
Koylio is keen to just control but Serra is a slippery customer.
Koylio perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

We're going to have a standup here because Lalli Koylio wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Serra goes for a takedown attempt but Koylio pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Koylio seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Serra does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Koylio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Serra on the ground.

Oh but Serra is tightening it up a little... Koylio has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Koylio reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Koylio taps out! Nice BJJ there by Serra!
