And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Maeda!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greyjoy shoots in but no luck this time.
Maeda throws a right and a left that both miss.

Greyjoy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Maeda tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Greyjoy is in Maeda's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Greyjoy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Greyjoy is working hard here to advance position.
Greyjoy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Greyjoy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Greyjoy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Maeda is keeping the position for now.
Greyjoy won't allow Maeda to sweep him here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Maeda lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Greyjoy!
Maeda takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Greyjoy is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greyjoy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Let's hope that Maeda has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Greyjoy is wriggling around trying to escape.

Greyjoy wants to try and get back to his feet.

Greyjoy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Greyjoy tries to get out of the position.

Greyjoy tries to buck Maeda off but he can't manage it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Maeda tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Victorian Greyjoy will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maeda, as that shot connected.

It looks like Victorian Greyjoy has been cut.

Greyjoy closes the distance and pushes Maeda back into the cage.
Maeda connects with a nasty looking knee right to Greyjoy's face.
Greyjoy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Maeda pulls his leg out and moves away.
Maeda scores with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maeda looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Maeda backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Greyjoy's temple! It sends Greyjoy violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Maeda celebrates and the doctors try to help Greyjoy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Akira Maeda!
