Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dayak Borneo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borneo fails to land with a series of punches.
Mejias closes the distance looking to clinch
and Borneo counters by clinching up.
Borneo stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Mejias goes for a takedown attempt but Borneo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Borneo throws out a loose jab but Mejias uses good head movement to avoid it.
A punch combination from Borneo misses.
Borneo shoots in looking for a takedown but Mejias manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Borneo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Borneo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mejias as he avoids it easily.
Mejias avoids the head kick by Borneo.
Borneo clinches up against the cage.
Mejias tries to pull guard but Borneo won't allow it.

Mejias doesn't manage to clinch there - Borneo circles away.

Borneo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mejias sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Borneo counters with a shoot takedown. Mejias fights it but they end up in guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mejias is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mejias has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Borneo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mejias has tightened it up now! Borneo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
