Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steve Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rictras Shard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shard has chosen Mari-Mac by Great Big Sea as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shard on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Brown's jab looks to have found its range, popping Shard under the eye.
Shard fails to land the takedown.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shard is defended easily by Brown.
Decent striking displayed by Brown there.

Shard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Shard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brown is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Shard takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Shard wants to control the pace but Brown is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shard controlling the pace for now.
Shard wants to control the action but instead Brown gets a body lock and reverses into Shard's guard! Nice work!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rictras Shard.
Shard takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Shard fails to land the takedown.
Steve Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rictras Shard.
Shard misses with a takedown attempt
and Shard takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Brown lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shard at a distance.
Brown scores with a hook to the body. Shard takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Shard looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brown works the jab nicely.

Brown lands a big uppercut and Shard crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Shard looks OK. Brown waves Shard back to his feet!

Shard is rocked!
Brown lands a brutal uppercut that launches Shard off his feet! Shard tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
