Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Lind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladimir Putin had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. On his way into the cage it seems that Vladimir Putin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vladimir Putin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin throws a jab when Lind was well out of range.
Putin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Putin throws a hook but Lind avoids it easily.
Lind gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Putin.
Putin misses with an uppercut. Lind saw that one coming.
Good exchange - Putin coming out on top.
Putin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lind moves away.
Putin takes a swing at Lind's ribcage but misses.

and Lind counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sloppy strikes from Putin. Those never looked like landing.

and Lind counters with a thumping low kick.
Lind slips a jab and a cross from Putin.
Lind fails to land with a series of punches.
Putin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lind's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Putin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lind scrambles back to his feet.
Lind ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Putin is breathing heavily.
Lind connects with a looping right hand.
Putin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Putin misses with a double jab.
Putin swings for the body but Lind moves out of range.
Lind cracks Putin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A big left from Putin misses.
Lind fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Putin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lind bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Putin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lind turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Vladimir Putin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lind comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lind changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Putin misses with an uppercut
and Lind counters with a nice low kick that buckles Putin's knee momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Putin scores with a jab. Lind acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Lind stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lind lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Putin takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lind cracks Putin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Lind changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Putin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Putin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Putin misses with a body punch
and Lind counters with a straight right hand.
Lind goes for a small jab and connects. Now Lind goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Putin stumbles back but Lind runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Putin to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Putin will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
