Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Banks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coco slips under a jab.
Banks comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A slow jab from Banks misses its intended target.
Coco swinging wildly here.
Coco ducks under a wild hook from Banks.
Coco tries for a takedown but Banks circles away easily
and Banks counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Good shot there by Banks.
Coco takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Scott Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banks rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coco moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Coco tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Banks lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Coco at a distance.
Banks works Coco's body with a nice hook.
Banks scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coco needs to keep his hands up - Banks had a free shot at his head there.


It looks like Chapa Coco has been cut.
Banks slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Coco slips under a jab from Banks.
Banks misses with a hook. Coco ducked under it nicely.
Banks lands a head shot.
Coco is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Banks misses with a looping right.
Banks throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Banks digs a good hook to Coco's body.
Coco walks into a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Banks lands the left hand.
Coco tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Banks counters with a nice uppercut.
Banks leaves Coco with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Coco is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Banks bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Coco's head.
Coco tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Banks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A decent looking cross lands there for Banks.
Coco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Banks sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Coco somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chapa Coco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A jab lands there for Banks.

Coco tries to clinch up.
Banks throws a jab but it's blocked by Coco.
Banks scores with a jab to the jaw.
Banks scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Coco dives in and grabs Banks's left leg, looking for a takedown. Banks pushes down on Coco's head and hops out.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Coco dodges the punch combination from Banks.
Banks moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.


Chapa Coco's cut is getting worse.
Scott Banks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Banks uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Coco has time to react.
Coco fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A combination from Banks does no damage.
Banks throws a big shot that misses.
Coco fails with the takedown.
Coco takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A nice combination there by Banks.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Banks lands with an overhand left.
Oh Coco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Banks ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Coco seems to have got his legs back now.
Banks throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Coco sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jab by Banks.
Banks lands a jab to the nose.
Coco on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Banks drops Coco with a straight right hand, right on the button! Banks follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Banks!
Scott Banks really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that L.A. Elite Clothing Co logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
