The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pazler throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Najman was covering up waiting for the punch and Pazler finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Najman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Pazler is pushing down on Najman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Najman is fighting to maintain full guard but Pazler has managed to sneak the leg through.

It looks like Pazler might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Najman parries the strikes from Pazler easily there. Pazler is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Najman to escape.
