The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jab Johnson wants it to stay on the feet.

Rio got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jab Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rio has managed to get both his arms back between Jab Johnson's legs - danger averted.

Jab Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rio manages to get himself to full guard.

Jab Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jab Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
