The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wayne doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Stark counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wayne's guard now.
Stark seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Wayne not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stark seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wayne for as long as he can get away with.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Wayne takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
No joy there for Wayne, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stark thuds a left hand into Wayne's body.

enabling Stark to counter with a crisp jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Stark darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Stark takes a swing at Wayne's ribcage but misses.
Wayne gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Stark counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wayne misses with a wild combination.

Stark lands a jab to the nose.
Stark throws a shot to the body.
Wayne wants to clinch
and Wayne takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wayne swings widly with a right hand

and Stark decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wayne's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wayne can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stark controls the pace.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Stark cracks Wayne with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Stark comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Damien Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wayne's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stark connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wayne scrambles back to his feet.
Wayne tries for a takedown but Stark circles away easily
and Stark counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Stark scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A decent looking cross lands there for Stark.
Wayne misses with a takedown attempt
and Stark counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Stark connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and Stark counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wayne's guard now.
Tony Stark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damien Wayne.

Stark seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Wayne is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
