Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Welsh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gray swivels and escapes.
David Gray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gray fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Welsh, pushing him back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Welsh crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gray - the referee stops the clock and Welsh gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gray. Welsh manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Gray fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Welsh has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Welsh on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Gray sizes up Welsh with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Welsh is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Welsh stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gray.
Gray uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Gray bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
