Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johhny Guns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kees Knoflook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kees Knoflook will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knoflook fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Johhny Guns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knoflook throws a head kick but Guns moves out of range.
Knoflook pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Guns shoots in looking for a takedown but Knoflook manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Guns's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Knoflook pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Knoflook throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Guns shoots in for a double leg but Knoflook sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Guns accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Guns is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Knoflook trying to control the position from guard on top but Guns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Guns wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Knoflook must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
