The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger swings widly with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kruger jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kruger throws a body punch but Kotipelto moves out of range.

Kotipelto turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Vinicius Kruger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kruger lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kruger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kotipelto's waist but Kotipelto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kruger off to one side.

Kruger fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kotipelto avoids it really well and circles away.
