Roach has chosen The Simpsons Theme Song as his entrance music. Bartholomew Roach will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roach scoring well with a low kick there.
Roach scores with a leg kick.
Couture shoots and misses
and Roach connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Couture is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Roach moves into the clinch successfully.
A short uppercut from Roach.
Roach landing knees to the body.
Roach lands a hook that snaps the head of Couture backwards.
Couture tries to pull guard but Roach holds him up against the cage and eventually Couture drops back down to his feet.

Nice body punch from Roach - that landed with a thud.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Roach obliges.

Roach throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Coutures head.

Roach lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Roach works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Roach digs a right hand into Couture's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Couture's gas tank.

Roach drops Couture with a big knee straight up the middle! Couture is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Couture is rocked!

It looks like Randy Couture has been cut.
