The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swardson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Swardson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Swardson is staying tight to Glock 's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Glock tries to improve position but can't.
Swardson in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Swardson decides to stand back up. Swardson steps back and let's Glock get back to his feet.

Swardson rushes Glock and presses him up against the cage.

Swardson gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Glock is breathing heavily.

Glock misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Swardson stands up and beckons Glock to join him on the feet.

Swardson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Swardson throws a body punch but Glock moves out of range.

Swardson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

It looks like Swardson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Swardson not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Swardson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Swardson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Glock can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Swardson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Swardson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Glock in real trouble here! The ref calls for Glock to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
