PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mic Krilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krilla comes to the cage accompanied by A Tribe Called Quest - Buggin' Out. Robinson has chosen Redemption!!! from the movie Rocky II as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roy Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson thows a body shot but no joy.
Robinson shoots in and drives through. Krilla sprawls well.
Robinson swings for the body but Krilla moves out of range.
Robinson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krilla tries to avoid it but Robinson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krilla to the ground. Krilla escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Robinson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Krilla avoids a punch combination nicely.
Roy Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robinson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Krilla sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Robinson somewhat.

That was a close round but I would say that Mic Krilla will probably get the nod.
