Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre closes the distance and clinches up with Mak, looking for a takedown. St Pierre pushes Mak against the cage but Mak circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and St Pierre counters with a shoot takedown. Mak fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
St Pierre working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mak manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. St Pierre manages to get himself to full guard.
St Pierre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mak postures up in St Pierre's guard and throws a big left but St Pierre blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mak in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Mak got a little sloppy there for a moment and St Pierre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mak has managed to get both his arms back between St Pierre's legs - danger averted.
