Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marko Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov throws a solid leg kick but Da Silva takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kersikov.
Da Silva swings for the body but Kersikov moves out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Marko Kersikov will probably get the nod.

Da Silva stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
No joy there for Kersikov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Renato Da Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Da Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Da Silva drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kersikov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kersikov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kersikov!

We're going to have a standup here because Marko Kersikov wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Da Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Da Silva dives in and grabs Kersikov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kersikov pushes down on Da Silva's head and hops out.
Da Silva takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Da Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kersikov as he jumps to the side.
Kersikov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Da Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kersikov tries to clinch there but Da Silva circles away.
Kersikov connects with a solid leg kick.

Kersikov throws a leg kick which misses Da Silva's front leg but catches the back leg as Da Silva tries to avoid it.

Kersikov lands a big head kick that sends Da Silva tumbling to the mat! Kersikov takes a step backwards and waves Da Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Kersikov has cracked Da Silva with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Kersikov lands another huge swinging hook and Da Silva tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Da Silva, before Kersikov can land any more shots!
