With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carlos Gracie!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Park throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gracie shoots and misses
and Park counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Park lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Park misses with the combination.
Gracie with a lazy takedown attempt
and Park cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A punch lands to the side of Gracie 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gracie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Park lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Steven Park has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Gracie.

Park fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it.

Park throws out a loose jab but Gracie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carlos Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie walks into a straight right hand from Park.
Gracie slips under a jab from Park.
Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Park.

Gracie has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gracie there as he acknowledges the shot.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Park sprawls well. Park wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.

Park jabs Gracie right on the nose. Gracie blinks but takes it well.
