The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb swings for the body but Forbes moves out of range.
A choreographed right hand from Bomb misses the target.

Forbes scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Forbes is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bomb has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bomb avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Forbes.
Forbes tries to advance to mount but Bomb instead regains half guard.

Bomb is staying active underneath Forbes, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Forbes seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Bomb is holding on tight.

Forbes throwing strikes and Bomb squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted.
Bomb suckers Forbes into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Bomb is now in Forbes's guard!
Forbes doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Forbes has control of Bomb's left arm, preventing Bomb from doing any damage.
Forbes trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Forbes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bomb won't allow Forbes to sweep him here.
Forbes wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Bomb is now in half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bomb stops Forbes from getting back to his feet.
Forbes tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Bomb has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Bomb tries to control but Forbes wriggling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Keith Forbes will probably get the nod.
