Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Dodson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Gurgel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gurgel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eminem - Lose Yourself kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurgel tries to sprawl but Dodson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Dodson is taking a breather. Gurgel says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gurgel looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Gurgel tries to get to full guard but Dodson has control of the leg.
Gurgel wants to control but Dodson is keeping busy.
Dodson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gurgel on the ground.

Gurgel manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Gurgel on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gurgel pushes a forearm under Dodson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dodson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

After winning the bout, Jorge Gurgel thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
