Velasques takes a jab right on the kisser.
Velasques looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sackett is fending him off so far but Velasques persists. Nope, Sackett circles away and we're back to standing.
Sackett lands a glancing blow to the side of Velasques's head.
Velasques throws a series of punches but Sackett moves out of range.
Velasques looks to land a combination but Sackett avoids it well.
Sackett lands a nice shot that snaps Velasques's head back.
Sackett sends Velasques crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sackett is motioning to the referee to let Velasques up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Fernando Velasques has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Velasques misses with a hook. Sackett ducked under it nicely.
Velasques shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sackett is trying to defend but Velasques finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Velasques has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sackett defend it? Velasques steps over the head and cranks it - Sackett is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Velasques!
