And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barnett moves into the clinch.

Kimura lands a takedown into guard.

Kimura thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kimura postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Barnett is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kimura, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kimura has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barnett can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kimura has his foot on Barnett's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barnett works his way back into a safe position though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kimura is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Barnett got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kimura has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barnett has managed to get both his arms back between Kimura's legs - danger averted.

Barnett thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kimura tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Barnett wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Barnett has an Americana. Kimura didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Barnett is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Barnett hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
