The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Podster wants to clinch but Ribiero slips to the side

and Ribiero counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Podster is trying to control but Ribiero passes into side control!
Ribiero is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Podster is looking to regain half guard here but Ribiero keeps moving and retains side control.

Ribiero decides to stand up, so the ref orders Podster to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ribiero shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Podster napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Podster wants to control but Ribiero postures up.
Ribiero controlling the position.
Ribiero passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Podster!
Ribiero tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Podster tries to improve his position but Ribiero has taken his back! Ribiero has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Podster tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Ribiero pushes Podster away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
