The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Choi drives through and clinches with Rutten against the cage.

Rutten breaks from the clinch.
Rutten lands a jab.
Rutten cracks Choi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Rutten's jab looks to have found its range, popping Choi under the eye.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Choi throws a low kick but Rutten moves out of range easily.
Choi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Choi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Choi darts in and clinches Rutten up against the cage.
Rutten tries to circle away but Choi has him pinned against the cage.

Rutten escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Choi just misses with a punch to the body.

Choi is rocked!
Rutten cracks Choi with a right hand to the side of the head.
Oh Choi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Choi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rutten was well out of range. Poor timing from Choi.
Rutten lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Choi up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Rutten from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Choi's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
