Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Qing Nan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raoul Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by GOT DA BEEF????. The key to victory for Qing Nan Lee has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Qing Nan Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Raoul Duke!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws out a loose jab but Duke uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lee throws a lazy right hand but Duke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Duke connects with a right hand. Lee shakes it off.


It looks like Qing Nan Lee has been cut.
Lee lands an overhand right.
Duke fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Duke takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A swing and a miss from Duke.
Lee jabs Duke right on the nose. Duke blinks but takes it well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Duke takes a kick to the side of the head.
Duke misses with a wild body shot.
Qing Nan Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duke changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Duke tries for a kimura but Lee is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duke taking some punishment here, with Lee in his half guard.
Duke is looking to control Lee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Duke avoid being mounted?
Lee with the ground and pound but Duke uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Lee not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Duke is looking for a triangle but Lee pushes his legs off easily.

Duke is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lee is aware though and is defending well.

Lee gets to his feet - Duke follows without any prompting.
Duke misses with a hook. Lee ducked under it nicely.
The fighters circling - Lee throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A slapping leg kick lands for Lee.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A big right from Lee misses.
Some bone on bone action there as Duke checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Lee.
Lee connects with a jab.
Lee lands with a cross.
Lee thuds a left hand into Duke's body.
Duke looks gassed!
Duke throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lee.
Nice uppercut there from Lee.
Lee connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Some wild striking there from Lee.
Lee pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Lee lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lee lands a jab to Duke's midsection.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Duke closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lee lands a nice leg kick that just misses Duke's sensitive parts.
Duke walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lee scores with a punch to the head.
Duke uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lee.
Qing Nan Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lee getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee lands a jab to Duke's midsection.
Duke takes one on the button.
Lee scores with a nice strike.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Duke moves out of range easily.
Duke misses with an uppercut.
Lee scores with a kick to the body.
Good leg kick by Lee there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee cracks Duke with a right hand to the side of the head.
Duke has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lee finds it's way round the side to connect with Duke's head.
Lee lands the left hand.


It looks like Raoul Duke has been cut.
Lee scores with a push kick.
Lee lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Whack! Lee lands a heavy head kick that drops Duke. The ref tackles Lee to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Duke was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Qing Nan Lee!
