Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choppy Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Choppy Jensen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Thompson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Choppy Jensen!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen throws a series of punches but Thompson avoids them all with ease.
Jensen moves away from the strike by Thompson.
A bone on bone clash there as Jensen blocks the leg kick.
Jensen checks a low kick from Thompson.
Thompson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Thompson misses with a low kick.
Jensen throws a nice head kick!
Jensen throws a nice looking combination but Thompson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jensen shoots in looking for a takedown but Thompson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jensen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jensen lands with an uppercut that bounces Thompson off the cage and back into range.

Thompson is rocked!
Jensen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A clash of legs there as Thompson blocks the low kick.

Thompson gets the takedown into side control.

Thompson wants to control but Jensen is keeping him busy.
Jensen tries to bench press Thompson off him but Thompson keeps the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jensen is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Thompson throwing strikes but Jensen manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Thompson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jensen just content to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jensen wants to control but Thompson is keeping him busy.
Jensen tries to move into full mount but can't pass Thompson's legs.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jensen throws a strike aimed at the side of Thompson's head but Thompson avoids it well.
Jensen trying to control the action but Thompson is working from the bottom.

Jensen stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Thompson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jensen.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Jensen! Thompson is backing up but he can't get away as Jensen lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Thompson and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Choppy Jensen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
