Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butter Bean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bean's entrance music is Real American. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Butter Bean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Summers !
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bean but Bean pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bean misses with a series of wild punches.
Summers has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Summers there as he acknowledges the shot.


It looks like James Summers has been cut.
Bean throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Summers counters with a slapping leg kick.

Bean drops Summers with a left right combo! Bean follows him down to the ground into side control.


Summers is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Bean wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Summers , who protects the arm well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bean thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Summers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Summers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bean. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bean thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bean tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bean has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Summers tries to buck Bean off but Bean is having none of it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Summers can't do much from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Butter Bean dominated that round.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Bean has gone for a leg lock! Summers slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bean's guard.

Bean is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Summers stays in close to Bean's body and controls the position.

Summers wants to stand but Bean is controlling his posture from full guard.

Bean looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Summers trying to control the position from guard on top but Bean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. James Summers wasn't active enough on the ground.
Bean swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Bean counters with a single leg into guard. Summers didn't expect that.

Bean thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Summers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bean defends it easily.
Summers manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bean manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Summers lands a couple of elbows.

Summers stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Bean throws up his legs and catches Summers in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Summers tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Bean! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Butter Bean!
Butter Bean was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
