The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esch thuds a left hand into Cooper's body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cooper is defended easily by Esch.
Cooper throws a jab but it's blocked by Esch.
Esch thuds his right hand into Cooper's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Cooper doesn't manage to clinch there - Esch circles away.
Cooper looks for a takedown but Esch sprawls well.
Esch connects with a right hand. Cooper shakes it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Esch lands a big right hand that sends Cooper crashing to the mat! Esch stays standing though and waves Cooper back to his feet!

It looks like Sheldon Cooper has been cut.
Crack! Esch connects with the perfect overhand right and Cooper falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Esch!
