Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antawn Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakeem Nix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nix has Jefferson up against the cage in a clinch.
Jefferson tries to pull guard but Nix forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Jefferson tries to score a body lock takedown but Nix shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
A frustrated look appears on Jefferson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jefferson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nix prevents it.

Jefferson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nix's efforts to push away.

Jefferson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nix walks away with a smile on his face. Jefferson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Nix looks to land a combination. Jefferson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Jefferson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nix sprawls well. Nix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jefferson gets slowly back to his feet.

Jefferson tries to keep at a distance but Nix has taken the fight into the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Nix.
Jefferson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nix just stands there and leans against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Nix.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Nix is working Jefferson over against the cage.
Nix tries a body shot but Jefferson blocks it.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Nix lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Jefferson throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Nix avoids a wild elbow strike from Jefferson.
Nix lands with a short shot to the head.
Jefferson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Nix pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jefferson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Nix closes the distance and pushes Jefferson back into the cage.
Jefferson tries to pull guard but Nix won't allow it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Jefferson breaks the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nix throws a right and a left that Jefferson avoids nicely.
Jefferson fails to land the takedown.

Jefferson rushes Nix and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hakeem Nix dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jefferson scores with a takedown into Nix's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nix is looking to stand up but Jefferson isn't so interested in that idea.
Nix has control of Jefferson's left arm, preventing Jefferson from doing any damage.
Nix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jefferson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jefferson is standing up over Nix. Nix looks to escape but Jefferson dives into side control.
Jefferson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Nix's legs.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nix avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jefferson.
Jefferson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Jefferson lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Nix hang on?
Jefferson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Nix digs a right hand underneath Jefferson's ribcage. Jefferson let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Nix tries to work over Jefferson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Nix lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Nix breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nix rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jefferson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Nix makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nix paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Nix has taken the fight to the clinch.

Nix is pushing Jefferson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Jefferson jumps guard and drags Nix to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Nix would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
