Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tadamasa Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lotus has chosen Eye of the tiger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lotus shoots in for a double leg but Yamada sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice uppercut lands for Yamada. That snapped Lotus's head back.
Yamada dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lotus. That did some damage!
Yamada throws a lazy right hand but Lotus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Yamada looks to throw the jab but Lotus is out of range.
Yamada slips a jab and a cross from Lotus.
Lotus moves to clinch but Yamada breaks away
and Yamada counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Yamada connects with a body shot.

It looks like Tommy Lotus has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yamada looks to land a left hand but Lotus moved out of range nicely.
Lotus walks into a left hand.
That kick from Yamada tenderised Lotus's leg. Lotus is trying to keep his angry face on.

Lotus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lotus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tadamasa Yamada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Lotus.
Yamada looks to land a left hand but Lotus moved out of range nicely.

Oooooh!!! Yamada has knocked Lotus down with a huge combo! Yamada steps away and waves a wobbly Lotus back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

and Yamada counters with a nice body kick.
Yamada paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lotus is still on wobbly legs! Can Yamada finish him?

Lotus is trying desperately to land a takedown but Yamada is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Lotus.
Yamada drops Lotus with a naaaaasty hook - Lotus is in real trouble here! Yamada dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

In his post fight interview, Tadamasa Yamada started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
