Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergiy Sklyar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tom Sawyer. Sklyar has chosen Scarface - No Tears as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyler Brooks!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergiy Sklyar!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks just misses with a punch to the body.
Brooks throws a body punch but Sklyar moves out of range.

Sklyar is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Brooks keeping moving, preventing Sklyar from controlling successfully.
Sklyar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Brooks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sklyar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sklyar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sklyar wants to control the pace but Brooks is squirming around nicely.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sklyar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Brooks tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sklyar smiles and moves away.

A big strike lands for Sklyar! That's really hurt Brooks and he's turned his back - Sklyar keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Sklyar jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
