Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manhoef's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Killing In The Name. Clark has chosen Lamb of God- One Gun as his entrance music. Joe Clark will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Manhoef sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Manhoef takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nice body kick there by Manhoef.
Manhoef throws a leg kick but Clark checks it.

You get the feeling that Manhoef really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Clark has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Joe Clark has been cut.
Melvin Manhoef seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clark tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Manhoef paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that Melvin Manhoef will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Manhoef fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Clark has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Melvin Manhoef has been cut.
Manhoef lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clark circles away quickly and effectively.

A jab from Clark finds it's way through Manhoef's defenses.
Oh Manhoef is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Manhoef throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Clark connects with a body shot that sends Manhoef's belly button to the back.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Clark clinches up against the cage.

Clark manages to pull guard.
Manhoef wants to stand and escape but instead Clark has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Clark controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clark sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Manhoef's guard.
Manhoef seems to have got his legs back now.
Clark passes the guard and advances to mount!

Clark goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Manhoef is on top in guard.

Clark looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Manhoef is working Clark over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Manhoef missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Manhoef postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Clark wants to sweep here but Manhoef controlling him for the moment.
Manhoef wants to get up but he can't break Clark's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joe Clark was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Manhoef lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Clark has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Clark and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Clark bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Manhoef's head backwards.
