Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Killian McDougle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Ding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ding's choice of entrance music: Mortal Kombat. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ding.
Ding is looking to clinch but McDougle is avoiding it.
McDougle takes one to the chin there.
A chopping leg kick lands by McDougle.
McDougle misses with a low kick.
Ding wants to clinch.
Ding tries to clinch up but McDougle circles away and keeps his distance.
Ding misses with a few strikes there.
McDougle closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Ding counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ding.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

McDougle wants to get back to full guard.

Ding is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
McDougle is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

McDougle is pressing down on Ding's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
McDougle is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
McDougle is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McDougle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ding throws a strike but McDougle rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Killian McDougle has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ding looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

McDougle misses with a low kick.

Ding feints and as McDougle raises his hands in defense, Ding changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ding is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ding. McDougle does a little dance to reset his feet.

McDougle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Good leg kick by McDougle there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Ding clinches up against the cage.
Ding misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from McDougle.
McDougle lands with a left to the head.

It looks like Dick Ding has been cut.

Ding tries to land knees in the clinch but McDougle avoids the damage to the body.
Ding is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. McDougle is defending well for now.

Ding lands a right hand that snaps the head of McDougle backwards.
McDougle lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Ding pushes off an throws an elbow but McDougle leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

McDougle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ding just misses with a punch to the body.

McDougle lands a left and a right that send Ding crashing to the mat, dazed. McDougle thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McDougle throws the kick towards the body but Ding avoids it.
Ding is looking to clinch but McDougle is avoiding it.

McDougle throws a looping overhand right but Ding ducks down to avoid it.
McDougle thows a left - swing and a miss!
McDougle uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

and Ding takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

McDougle connects with a leg kick. Ding looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
McDougle misses with a body kick.
Ding closes the distance but McDougle moves to the side
and McDougle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That has opened up Dick Ding's cut even more.
McDougle thows a left - swing and a miss!
McDougle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McDougle rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ding counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. McDougle is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Dick Ding is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McDougle misses with a body shot

and Ding counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McDougle!
McDougle wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Ding.

Ding lands a big elbow.

McDougle is rocked!
McDougle tries to lock up and control but Ding gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
McDougle is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Ding scoring with strikes but McDougle is staying in there.
Oh McDougle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ding loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have McDougle scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Ding land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Ding stands and salutes the crowd.
