Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Laudrup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Sturd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laudrup comes to the cage accompanied by U2- Zoo Station. Sturd is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: DMX - Wright or Wrong. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jason Sturd enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Laudrup crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sturd - the referee stops the clock and Laudrup gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sturd. Laudrup manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Laudrup is looking to wear down Sturd with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

This has been an exciting period of action!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Sturd in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Laudrup tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sturd sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Laudrup somewhat.

Laudrup chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sturd can pounce on him.

Sturd lands a left and a right that send Laudrup crashing to the mat, dazed. Sturd thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Laudrup is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sturd steps in with a hook that catches Laudrup right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Sturd follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Laudrup looks absolutely devastated.
