The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rimes scores with a jab to the jaw.

It looks like Barry Smith has been cut.
Smith on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Good work by Smith as he checks the leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rimes misses with a hook. Smith ducked under it nicely.
Smith takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rimes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smith.
Rimes is looking to slow Smith down with leg kicks.
Rimes connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rimes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Smith looks gassed!
Smith misses with a leg kick.

Rimes cracks Smith with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rimes has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Smith to stand back up!
Smith switches off momentarily and Rimes cracks him with a monster right hand! Smith topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Rimes dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Rimes!
