Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacoby Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francesco Albertini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cash comes to the ring accompanied by Between Angels and Insects. Francesco Albertini will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacoby Cash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Francesco Albertini!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash lands with a kick to the temple. Albertini shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Albertini uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cash.

Cash closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Albertini is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Cash is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Albertini reverses the position - he's now on top in Cash's guard.

Albertini gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Albertini keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Albertini tries to clinch there but Cash circles away.
Cash closes the distance and clinches up with Albertini, looking for a takedown. Cash pushes Albertini against the ropes but Albertini circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cash shoots in for a double leg but Albertini sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacoby Cash. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cash throws a head kick but Albertini moves out of range.
Cash is breathing heavily.
Albertini tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Cash paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Cash closes the distance and clinches up with Albertini, looking for a takedown. Cash pushes Albertini against the ropes but Albertini circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Albertini jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Albertini scores with a sloppy right hand. Cash should have avoided that one.


Cash is rocked!


It looks like Jacoby Cash has been cut.
Cash keeps the fight on the outside.
Oh Cash is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cash throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Albertini is looking to clinch.
Cash seems to have got his legs back now.
Cash shoots in but no luck this time.
Albertini takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nice takedown defense from Albertini. No joy for Cash on that attempt.
Albertini will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A big right from Cash misses.
Cash lands with a straight right. Albertini didn't see that one coming.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cash decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Cash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Albertini swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cash wants to stand and escape but instead Albertini has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Cash looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Albertini puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Cash is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Albertini pulls his head out easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Albertini should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Albertini stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Cash throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Albertini's waist but Albertini gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cash off to one side.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Cash has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Albertini clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Albertini is trying to get back to his feet but Cash has full control of the position and if anything, Albertini has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Cash seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Albertini's chin but Albertini turns very nicely into Cash's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Albertini.

Albertini has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cash to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Albertini is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cash pulls down on the head and he's put Albertini to sleep! This one is all over!
