The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King misses with a low kick as Mallon jumps back.
King lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mallon's sensitive parts.
King shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mallon eats them both and turns towards King to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Mallon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps King thinking.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

King wants to slow Mallon down by chopping away at his legs.

Nice straight punches there by King. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of King.
Mallon throws a lazy right hand but King sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
