Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Segura loads up on a big right hand but Severn slips the punch.

Segura gets a double leg takedown into Severn's guard.
Segura looking to pass the guard.
Severn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Segura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Segura drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Segura jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Segura passes into half guard.

Segura is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Severn sees it coming and defends easily.

Segura seems to be looking for submissions.
Severn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Severn is trying to maintain the position but Segura is very close to passing his half guard.
Severn has a hand on Segura's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Segura takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Segura throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Severn has his hands clasped together but Segura breaks the hold and Severn is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Segura!
