Lloyd scores with a head kick.

It looks like Fernando Velasques has been cut.
Lloyd lands a front kick.
Velasques shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lloyd defends it nicely.

Lloyd stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lloyd wants it to stay on the feet.

Velasques misses with a hook.
Lloyd connects with a high kick.
Lloyd lands a nice looking body kick.
Horrible takedown by Velasques or perhaps it was just good defense by Lloyd which made him look bad.
Velasques looks gassed!

Velasques on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Lloyd throws a leg kick which misses Velasques's front leg but catches the back leg as Velasques tries to avoid it.
Lloyd is looking to slow Velasques down with leg kicks.
Lloyd throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters circle, before Lloyd throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Velasques's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Lloyd lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ray Lloyd decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
