The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves shoots in for a double leg but Sobral sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Alves gets caught flat footed, as Sobral shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Sobral trying to control the position from guard on top but Alves is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Alves throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sobral escapes and throws Alves's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Sobral wants to control but Alves is keeping him busy.
Sobral in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Alves is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
