Kangaskokko comes into the arena with TRC - H.A.T.E.R.S blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bryan's choice of entrance music: Flight of the Valkyries. Daniel Bryan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kai Kangaskokko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Bryan!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kangaskokko moves in looking to clinch but Bryan pushes him off.

Bryan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kangaskokko sprawling to the canvas! Kangaskokko rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bryan finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kangaskokko wants to clinch.
Bryan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kangaskokko.
Bryan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kangaskokko. That did some damage!
Kangaskokko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kangaskokko fails with an attempt to clinch.
The fighters circling - Bryan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kangaskokko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bryan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bryan misses with a looping right.
Bryan moves into range and connects with a jab.

Kangaskokko forces Bryan back against the cage and clinches.
Bryan avoiding damage as Kangaskokko throws knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kangaskokko misses with some punches.
Bryan blocks the elbow strike.
Bryan prevents a body shot from Kangaskokko.
Bryan is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Kangaskokko has Bryan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bryan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bryan is trying to break free.

Bryan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bryan misses with a looping right.
Bryan chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Bryan lands a big uppercut and Kangaskokko crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kangaskokko looks OK. Bryan waves Kangaskokko back to his feet!


Kangaskokko is rocked!


It looks like Kai Kangaskokko has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kangaskokko ducks into an uppercut from Bryan and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Daniel Bryan!
A very excited looking Daniel Bryan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
