Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trefor Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arto Byyri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes into the arena with Back in Black - AC/DC blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Byyri.
Byyri throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Thomas throws a series of punches but Byyri avoids them all with ease.
A jab from Byyri misses.
Byyri closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Trefor Thomas has been cut.
Byyri throws a lazy uppercut
and Thomas counters with a crisp one two that drops Byyri! Thomas thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Byyri to his feet! Byyri is in big trouble!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thomas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thomas fails to land with a series of punches.
Byyri scores with a sloppy right hand. Thomas should have avoided that one.
Byyri lands a big uppercut and Thomas crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Thomas looks OK. Byyri waves Thomas back to his feet!
Thomas is rocked!
Byyri connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Thomas out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arto Byyri!
