Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alan Oro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bernard Nyamondi!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oro thuds his right hand into Nyamondi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Nyamondi gets the takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Nyamondi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Oro is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Nyamondi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Oro knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nyamondi trying to control the action but Oro is working from the bottom.
Nyamondi tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Oro is looking to reverse the position.
Nyamondi wants to control but Oro is keeping him busy.

Nyamondi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
You can see the frustration on Oro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nyamondi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Oro has escaped the position, nice work there.
Oro regains half guard.

Nyamondi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Oro gets back to full guard.
Nyamondi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oro swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Oro has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Nyamondi should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Oro has tightened it up now! Nyamondi should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
