Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Michel Teló - Ai Se Eu Te Pego . Smith has chosen Anarchy in the UK - Sex Pistols as his entrance music. Xavier Gracie has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie needs to keep his hands up - Smith had a free shot at his head there.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Smith is in trouble now - Gracie has advanced to mount!

Smith bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Gracie swings around for an armbar but Smith sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Smith manages to control the position for a moment.
Gracie sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Smith defends it well.
