The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Seng paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Thompson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Seng's sensitive parts.
Thompson shoots in looking for a takedown but Seng manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Thompson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Thompson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

It looks like Hunter Thompson has been cut.

Seng lands an elbow inside that Thompson shrugs off.
Thompson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Seng is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Thompson.

Seng scores with a one two! Thompson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

The cut above Hunter Thompson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Thompson's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Thompson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hunter Thompson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
