Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Zhakatyz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhakatyz has chosen Allegria as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhakatyz throws a left and a right that both miss

and Reyes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Zhakatyz's guard.
Zhakatyz is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Reyesis looking to pass into half guard but Zhakatyz pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Zhakatyz is in guard.
Zhakatyz trying to control the position from guard on top but Reyes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Reyes tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Reyes has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Zhakatyz is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Reyes.

Zhakatyz is trying to control. Reyes wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Reyes won't allow Zhakatyz to pass to mount.

Zhakatyz postures up.
Reyes wants to stand up but Zhakatyz is controlling him.

Reyes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Zhakatyz controls the pace.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Gabriel Zhakatyz wasn't active enough on the ground.

Zhakatyz drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Reyes has his foot on Zhakatyz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zhakatyz works his way back into a safe position though.
Reyes manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Reyes is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Zhakatyz is surviving well by controlling Reyes's body position as best he can.

Reyes is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Zhakatyz has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Zhakatyz!

Reyes is looking for a triangle but Zhakatyz pushes his legs off easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Reyes is looking to sinch up a triangle. Zhakatyz throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Reyes's body to avoid the submission. Reyes has instead reached around Zhakatyz's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Reyes arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
