Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Baumgardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Walburn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Randy Walburn!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baumgardner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Walburn as he jumps to the side.
Walburn throws a body kick that misses.
Walburn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Baumgardner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Baumgardner jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Walburn manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Baumgardner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Baumgardner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Walburn is looking to regain half guard here but Baumgardner keeps moving and retains side control.

Baumgardner has his foot on Walburn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Walburn works his way back into a safe position though.

Baumgardner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walburn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
